San Antonio: Dallas superstar Luka Doncic scored 51 points to cap off a historic five-game run, and the Mavericks needed every one of them to beat the San Antonio Spurs.
Doncic scored two free throws and two rebounds in the final 4.5 seconds to help Dallas win 126-125 over San Antonio on Saturday night, their sixth victory in a row.
Doncic had 60 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists Tuesday night in an overtime victory over the Knicks, making it his third game in a row with 50 points. He's the principal player in NBA history with 250 places, 50 bounce back, and 50 helps in more than a five-game range.
Christian Wood, a Mavericks center, said, "It's incredible." I've been in the league for seven years, but I've never seen anyone do what he can. He is running an amazing race. He is performing like the MVP. Clearly one of the league's best players."
